On Sept. 7, students of 2011 staged grand performance after 7 days of military training. The showcase was held respectively on the two campuses. The honored guests present are Zhao Fuxing (Deputy Division Chief of Sports Art and Public Health Department of Shandong Provincial Department of Education), Dong Xiangyang (Deputy Division Chief of Headquarters of Shandong People's Armed Police Corps), Guo Yanxin (Political Assistant of Headquarters of Shandong People's Armed Police Corps), Jing Zhaojing (Principal of No. 2 Junior Middle School attached to Shandong Normal University), Yuan Ying (Principal of Yanshan School), Zhang Xiaoming (Principal of No. 1 Dianliu Middle School), Chen Huaizhi (Vice-principal of Jinan No. 5 Middle School), Chen Lijun (Vice-principal of Middle School Attached to Shandong University) and Li Yuliang (Vice-principal of No. 2 Middle School Attached to Shandong University). Leaders of our school who were present were Wang Yuzhang, Tan Yinghai, Yu Shuzeng, Sun Hengmin, Guo Jian, Chen Dehai, Liu Congjun and Zhang Xianchen. It was hosted by Liu Congjun, Vice-principal of our school. Parents of these students watched the performance.
The military parade started with the national song. Accompanied by the leader of Headquarters of Shandong People's Armed Police Corps and the commander of the military training camp, vice-principal of our school Wang Yuzhang inspected the parade formation. Each formation was formed by one class. With the military march, students marched by the rostrum in strides and shouted in chorus showing their brightness and bravery with high spirit. After the march, every class gave a performance of military principles, which was received with hearty rounds of applause.
Chen Dehai, Vice-principal of our school made a summary of the grand performance and the 7-day military training. On behalf of the leaders of our school, he expressed sincere thanks to the leaders of Shandong People's Armed Police Corps, those 35 drill sergeants and all the teachers and students who took part in the military training. He also highly praised what students had achieved during the 7 days. Mr. Chen stressed that it was the drill sergeants’ competence and students’ hard work that contributed to the success of this military training. He hoped that students could regard the military training as a new start of their high school life and would study hard with the fine quality of being perseverant and struggling hard in the future.
Tan Yinghai, Secretary of Party Committee of our school, announced the recipients of the awards for excellent classes and excellent students in the military training. Totally 13 classes won awards for good parade formation, 13 classes for spiritual civilization and 15 classes for journalism. 450 students received the awards for excellent students.
The showcase ended with the March for CPLA. Students of 2011 satisfied all the leaders, teachers and their parents with their outstanding performance.

Recently, our school has received coverage by several main media in Shandong Province. On Sept. 1st, Life Daily covered the enrollment of the new students who will board at Xingfuliu Campus. On Sept. 4th, this newspaper also published a profile of Wang Huina, a teacher from Physics T&R Group of our school. From Sept. 2 to 5, the news that our school won a gold medal in the 28th National Olympiad in Informatics was reported by many media.
