AHS Invited to Attend 2018 “New Technology for Future Education” Exhibit

On April 16, 2018 “New Technology for Future Education” Exhibit, hosted by China Education Association, commenced in China National Conference Center, Beijing. As a special guest invited to attend the conference titled “New Exploration-AI and Big Data to Aid Teachers and Students”, Li Chengjin, Director of Teaching Service Center of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS), introduced the practice and exploration AHS had made in applying AI into education and accepted the exclusive interview by CCTV-2 Finance Channel.

 

Relying on the advanced educational philosophy and its capable teaching and research group, AHS has been playing an active role in undertaking educational innovations via technology and exploring new modes for individualized education by virtue of AI intellectual education platform. AHS would experiment the new mode of “AI + Education”, forging the big data in view of accurate teaching and promoting the deep integration of advanced technology and teaching to realize the educational informatization.

 

AHS has constructed the new teaching mode centering on students with the help of AI Intellectual System. Through collecting students’ academic data and the procedural data of teaching and deeply excavating what the data imply, AHS has set up the developmental evaluation featured by multi-dimentions including students’ learning capacity as well as their attitudes, which, therefore, provides great aids for school directors to make efficient decisions, teachers to reduce students’ burden and increase their efficiency, and students to achieve their personalized learning. The developmental evaluation, learning analysis and personalized learning, all based on the big data, have well implied the essence of AI in promoting education and achieving the real accurate teaching and personalized teaching.
